Pilates for Sports

Our pilates for sports classes are hugely popular with both the amateur and elite athlete. Led by Kate Cadbury who is an age group Team GB athlete in Duathlon and also Chartered Physiotherapist. Kate knows and understands what the sportsperson needs. These challenging and enjoyable classes will allow you to discover the importance of strengthening the core and enhancing flexibility to help improve biomechanics, reduce your risk of injury and produce more power to achieve those sporting goals and reach those top results.

Mixed Ability Pilates

Our Physiotherapy based approach enables us to adapt our classes for a wide range of clients. We have a wealth of experience of teaching pilates to clients with aches and pains, post operations, osteoporosis, post injury or simply to those new to the pilates methods. The mixed ability classes provide you with a variety of levels to choose from whether you are a beginner or more experienced. Our dynamic and fun classes combine strengthening and flexibility exercises and allow you to work at a level to suit you.

Introduction to Pilates / Pilates for Back Pain

Taught by Kate Cadbury, a Chartered Physiotherapist, these classes allow you to achieve the foundations of Pilates from which to then progress on from. We are passionate about ensuring correct form to allow you achieve the maximum out of each class. These classes are aimed at the pilates beginner or if you are suffering with back pain. A more gentle paced and highly informative class addressing the core principles behind pilates to allow for reduced pain, improved mobility, increased confidence and functional ability.

These classes can be done in your own time through our on demand library of 45 minute and 20 minute express classes

High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) Pilates

HIIT Pilates is a combination of high intensity cardio exercises and pilates to allow you to challenge your core and improve your strength and fitness. This faster paced class is suitable for those with a higher level of fitness.

These 40 minute classes run live on Fridays at 6.30 am and can be done in your own time through our on demand library

Low IntensityInterval Training (LIIT) Pilates

LIIT Pilates is a combination of lower intensity cardio exercises and pilates to allow you to work your core and improve your strength and fitness. This class is suitable for those new to this form of exercise, with reduced mobility and post natally

Therapeutic Yoga

Rachel, a Chartered Physiotherapist and clinical yoga teacher teaches a 30-45 minute stretch class to allow for increased mobility and flexibility. Modifications are taught to allow you to adapt for any restrictions or aches and pains. 

These classes can be done at a time to suit you through our on demand library.

Yoga for Sport

Chris is a Yoga For Athletes Coach and provides Yoga-inspired sessions to benefit your sporting performance and longevity. The focus is to deliver safe, functional and dynamic flows that suit all standards of athletes, delivering equal value to increasing flexibility, building strength and stability. His experience as a Professional Football Coach, a Triathlon, Tennis and Cricket Coach adds huge value to the understanding of what movements are required by our sports.

Express Classes

Our ever increasing on-demand library of express pilates classes allow you to incorporate pilates into your busy schedule. Express classes include beginner, mixed ability, pilates for sport, pilates at your desk, postural pilates and stretch.

These 10 - 20 minute classes can be done in your own time through our on demand library.


Ante-natal Pilates Classes

Our bespoke ante-natal pilates classes run by Kate and Anna allow you to discover how pilates can help you improve mobility, strength and flexiblity, reduce your risk of pregnancy related aches and pains, activate the core and pelvic floor, giving you time to focus on you, your baby, your body and simply allowing you time to breathe. Nutrition

Our registered Nutritionist, Sanna Atherton from Osku Nutrition is available for nutritional support and advice. Sanna runs regular pop up educational and informative live sessions covering the menopause, hormones in sport, sports nutrition, stress and anxiety, sleep and lots more. These are all recorded and available in the on-demand library if you are unable to attend the live session.
